Cottons Clothing Company on Baker Street has announced its first ever Cruise Wear Contest. Kootenay residents are encouraged to mail postcards from their vacation destinations this winter to Cottons and their names will go into a draw for a gift certificate for the store.

“This is the first time we’ve ever had a contest like this,” says owner Noreen Lynas, “and we’re looking forward to seeing where all the postcards come from and we’ll be putting them up on our ‘customer journeys’ wall.”

The Cruise Wear contest ends on April 30 and the winner will receive a $50 gift certificate to put towards any item in the store.

To help everyone prepare for their upcoming vacations, Cottons has stocked its shelves with cruise and vacation wear including bright sun dresses, glitzy sandals, and comfortable blouses made of all natural fibres.

Located on historic Baker Street in downtown Nelson, Cottons Clothing Company has been in the fashion business for the past 23 years and specializes in natural fibre clothing made from cotton, silk and bamboo, among others.
