Nearly 200 people took advantage of the chance to see the Budweiser Clydesdales, one of the world’s best-known horse teams, when they visited the hop farm south of Rykerts border crossing on July 23.

The farm is operated by the Anheuser-Busch Brewing Company, which features the Clydesdales in many of its television commercials. The team travels in three semis with a crew of about 15 to attend many public events across North America, promoting Budweiser beer, which is also brewed in Creston at the Columbia Brewery.

Anheuser-Busch and the Columbia Brewery are owned by InBev, one of the world’s largest beer producers. The local brewery uses hops grown at the farm.
