Creston and District Credit Union administrative assistant Winona Morris presented Tom Greentree of the Creston Ministerial Association with $2,900 for the Christmas hamper fund yesterday.
The contribution included $1,200, matched by the credit union, which was raised by the staff at its popular annual bake sale. The additional $500 came from CRI Canada, which gave the credit union $500 to donate to a charity of its choice, nudging the total $400 higher than the CDCU's 2011 donation.
