The Prince Charles Secondary School junior boys volleyball team competed in the East Kootenay championships on the weekend in Elkford. The boys went undefeated in pool play, beating Sparwood Secondary School, Laurie Middle School (Cranbrook), Selkirk Secondary School (Kimberly) and Jaffray Junior Secondary School.

All matches went 2-0, with the closest set being 25-17. The boys then defeated Laurie in the semifinals and played Sparwood in the final, winning 25-20, 21-25 and 15-8.

Team MVPs were Keiren Poznikoff and Ryley Hills, and the coaches are Mike Nelson and Rick Czar.
