The 13- and 14-year-old Creston bantam Bruins travelled to Whitefish, Mont., on Sunday by invitation to play the Whitefish recreation team, which has players 13-18 years old.

Creston welcomed back players Kyle Gol-beck, Jacob Endersby and Abdul Samai. Kristi Blackmore moved to forward, and Otto and Owen Blackmore went to defence.

Whitefish started the scoring early in the first period, but that would be their only goal. Kristi scored two goals, and Jessie Dewald scored a beauty of a goal in the third. Goalie Christopher Mulder did not see much action in the 17-1 Creston win, and Creston had no penalties in the game.

The Bruins next game is 8 a.m. Feb. 18 at the John Bucyk Arena. Admission is free.
