William (Bill) Irvine
1928 ~ December 15, 2016
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of William (Bill) Irvine who passed away on December 15, 2016 at the age of 88, at Creston Valley Hospital after a brief illness.
Bill was born in Kimberly, B.C. where he was raised and educated. He was a beloved father and husband.
Bill was self-employed as a blacksmith, welder, and machinist; he was the ideal handyman. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge as well as the Shriners.
He was predeceased by his wife Lela Irvine who passed away in 2010.
He is survived by his children Bill (Mariette), Susan (Allan), Scott (Kerri), and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A Service will be held on January 17, 2017 at 11:00am at G.F. Oliver Funeral Chapel, 225 - 15th Ave North, Creston, B.C.
The family would also like to thank Dr. Griffioen, Creston Valley Hospital Staff, Swan Valley Lodge Adult Day Program, relatives and friends for their support through Dad’s brief illness. He will be forever missed.
