Patrick Michael Saunders

September 30, 1961 ~ July 24, 2017

Patrick was born September 30, 1961 in North Vancouver B.C. and passed away suddenly July 24, 2017 at his residence in Creston, B.C.

Pat lived his early years in North Vancouver and Surrey B.C. In 1976 he moved with his family to Yahk B.C., after his parents purchased the Yahk Hotel. He continued his schooling – traveling by school bus to the Endicott Center in Creston. Gradually he transitioned in to Creston to live at the Endicott Center and from there in to the community. He was a diligent worker at Cresteramics for years and loved to bowl. He traveled one year to the Special Olympics in Victoria. He also enjoyed a trip to Disneyland with a group of his peers. He would travel home by Greyhound several times a year to see his family, whether it be in B.C. or Alberta.

Pat was predeceased by his grandparents and more recently his father George in February 2017.

He is survived by his mother Marion of Penticton, B.C.; brothers Bryan (Janice) of Aldergrove, B.C. and Grant (Allison) of Calgary, Alberta; niece Courtney Saunders of Abbotsford, B.C.; Uncle Bert and Aunt Florence of Calgary, Alberta and many cousins.

The family would like to thank all those who have worked with Pat through the years, for their dedication and especially the staff at 25 Ave. for all their love and support of Pat over the last few years. Pat was a gentle person and will be missed by many.
