Olga Edwards
October 3, 1927 ~ March 24, 2017
Olga Edwards passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the age of 89 years on March 24, 2017, after suffering an unexpected stroke.
Olga was a long-standing member of the Creston community and will be remembered for over sixty years of volunteer and charity work with the Ladies Auxiliary, Royal Canadian Legion and Kids for Cancer to name a few.
She was predeceased by her husband Tom and daughter Patsy.
Olga will be sadly missed by her seven surviving children, Tommy, Robert (Tess), Stanley, Larry (Millie), Brian (Carole), Philip and Dina; 22 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Our heartfelt thanks to the caring staff at Creston Valley Hospital for their wonderful support of Olga and the family in her final days.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, March 31 at at 2:00pm at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 315 - 15th Ave North, Creston, BC. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Olga’s name to the Creston Valley Hospice Society, #1 - 1720 Birch Street, Creston, BC V0B 1G0.
