Helen Louise Gordey of Creston, British Columbia passed away peacefully on June 14, 2017 at Creston, BC at the age of 89 years
Helen was born in Neilberg, Saskatchewan to Ellsworth L. Ball and Mabel L. Ball on March 14, 1928. She attended school at the local East Manitou School. Helen was a passionate gardener and spent many enjoyable hours in her garden.
Helen is predeceased by her parents Ellsworth and Mabel Ball; her first husband Frank Gordey; her second husband Dan Gordey; sisters Vonda Tugwell, Rowene Livingstone, Grace McLean, Ruth Paulus, and Doris Smithson; and her brother Robert Ball.
Helen is survived by her sons Greg Gordey of Okotoks, Alberta and Gary Gordey of Edmonton, Alberta; grandchildren Elisha OLane, Robert Gordey, Erin Gordey, and Daniel Gordey; great-grandchildren Ella and Ava; nieces Lorraine Pilon, Cleo Smith, Karen Unruh, Sharon Schempp, Vicky Hardy, and Melody McLean; nephews Alan Smithson, Ralph Smithson, Michael McLean, Randy Ball, Rick Ball, Dana Ball, and Rick Tugwell.
Funeral Services will be closed with interment to occur at a later date.
