Evelyn Phillips

Evelyn Phillips passed away February 15, 2011 at her residence in the Swan Valley Lodge at the age of 85 years.
Evelyn was born to parents Lavinia and Fred Wilson on October 11, 1925 in Newcastle, England. Evelyn married Gerald Phillips in 1944 and five months later she immigrated to Canada.
Evelyn enjoyed cooking, baking, knitting, needlework and family activities.
She was predeceased by her husband Gerald Phillips; parents Lavinia and Fred Wilson and infant daughter Sandra Evelyn Phillips.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Joan (Robin) Morris, Edna (Peter) Much, Linda Hobden, Sharon Phillips, Lorna (Pat) Folick, Eileen (Wayne) Adams and Marion (Rick) Borgstrom; sons Allan (Eileen) Phillips and Lloyd (Bonnie) Phillips; 20 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren; sisters Edna (Dennis) Grigg and Joan (Ian) Leslie and brother Eric (June) Wilson.
A Celebration of Life Service was held Saturday February 19, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Redeemer Lutheran Church with Pastor Harry Haberstock officiating.
Following the service, interment took place at the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Erickson, BC.
