It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother.
Diane Marie Veronica Christensen passed away on June 9, 2017 in Vancouver B.C. while waiting for heart surgery; sadly she did not make it to the surgery. She was born on December 12, 1946 in Kelowna B.C. and was currently residing in Creston B.C.
She will be sadly missed by her family and many close friends.
Diane was predeceased by her husband Allan Christensen, her son Richard George Loxam, her mother Rose Bullen and her faithful companion for many years, Baxter the cat.
Diane is survived by her daughters: Carol (Dave), Lynn and Diana; her grandchildren: Andrew (Colleen), Nicole, Ashley (Matt), Amber (Jonathon), Darren, and Shane; great-grandchildren: Jac, Heidi, Maddie, Jamie-Lynn, Carver, Kayleb, Kayden and Kassidy.
We would like to say a very special Thank You to Mila for everything you did and for being with mom when she passed away. Also to Terri for checking in on mom every week and making her life a little brighter- she looked so forward to your visits.
Mom you may be gone, but you will always be with us, and now you are getting the rest you need and are finally at peace.
