Outside chance that Cranbrook may be having an airshow next year

There is an outside chance that Cranbrook may be having an airshow next year. However, I will keep my fingers crossed for this one. It would be great if Creston were to host such an event, by inviting the Canadian Forces Snowbirds, a CF-18 Hornet, along with World War 2- era aircraft as well.

Since the early 1980s, I had attended several airshows here in Canada, including the United States, in which I gotten up-close and personal with the Boeing B-52 Stratofortress, and Rockwell B-1 Lancer of the U.S. Air Force (as static-displays). It was during the Cold-War, that these bombers, and their crews, flew on the so-called “Doomsday Missions” which were largely instrumental in winning this conflict, thus preventing a Nuclear Armageddon, and creating a much safer world. It sort of gives hope for the future doesn’t it!

To close my letter, I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas—-and always remember, Angels exist, and miracles do occur—-as I am speaking from personal experience. Peace on Earth; good-will to all men, women, and children, regardless of your faith. And may God bless this beautiful planet we call home. Best wishes in 2018.
