Creston RCMP responded to 62 calls for service from Feb. 13-19, Staff Sgt. Bob Gollan said on Feb. 20.

February 13

•A GMC pickup was hit by an unidentified white vehicle — it left behind some paint — either in the downtown area or at the rec centre.

•A box of seized drugs was picked up from the Rykerts border crossing. The selection of illegal stuff was destroyed.

•Police were unable to trace the source of a 911 call routed through the Whimster Road cell tower.

•A minor collision occurred in a Northwest Boulevard parking lot when one vehicle backed into another. No injuries resulted.

•A Highway 3 resident complained that a former partner was breaking a no contact order by sending instant email messages.

•Police responded to what turned out to be a false alarm at an office in the 1000 block of Northwest Boulevard.
