What do you do when you have outgrown a house, but like the one you have? A Canyon couple needed more space for their two kids, so they opted to have a new foundation built and to use the house they were living in as a base for a new home.
How was it done? Contractors cut the original home into two pieces with chainsaws and a lot of careful planning, then a crane operator carefully moved each half into position on the new concrete basement walls.
The residents hope to move into their new home by the end of September.
