B.C. Education Minister Mike Bernier toured Adam Robertson Elementary School on Tuesday as part of a series of visits through the Kootenays this week.
“This is a beautiful school,” he said of the 83-year-old building.
Bernier was escorted by Grade 6 students Hayden Persad and Maryn Wiens, and dropped into several classrooms to see students demonstrating activities and projects.
“This is the best part of my job,” he said.
