RCMP Cpl. Gerry Sliworsky said that a search and rescue team was on site, along with a police dog and helicopter, soon after the report was received. The male, a teacher at Crawford Bay Elementary School, had gone out to scout a location to take students hiking but was reported missing on Monday. His vehicle was located, unlocked.
