March 19 at the Snoring Sasquatch will be a celebration of everything Irish. All are invited to gather and enjoy a licensed night of traditional Irish and Celtic music while they mix and mingle. Included in the evening’s entertainment will be popular entertainers Bob Gollan and Julie Groot, Eric Johnson and Shelli Hutchison, as well as Jackson Peters and more.
“It’s going to be a energetic night of fun and entertainment, and we have some yummy nibbles prepared, as well,” said Sasquatch volunteer Shelly Lamb. “We needed to raise funds to implement more of our long term plans. A St. Patrick’s day party is the perfect opportunity.”
The Snoring Sasquatch arts house, located at 221 11th Ave. N., has seen a steady increase in its events attendance since its change from a hostel to a volunteer run arts venue in early 2008. Patrons of the Sasquatch are reminded that when they attend Sasquatch events they help keep the arts alive in Creston.
Tickets are $12 including coffee, tea and finger food, available at Kingfisher Used Books or Black Bear Books. Limited tickets are available. The doors open at 7 p.m.
