The Sasquatch Arts and Music Society (SAMS) fundraising cabaret on Jan. 29 was a sold-out good time.
“Maureen Cameron and Llana Kilpatrick, the mistresses of ceremony, introduced a lineup, too long to list, of talent for which Creston is famous,” said SAMS board member Maggie Leal-Valias. “Dan Caverly from Nelson played piano and sang smoky cabaret songs, Jean Herbeaux sang a version of La Vie en Rose that would break your heart and Jasmine Lothien provided a delightfully appropriate cabaret ‘surprise entertainment’.”
The money made at the cabaret will go a long way toward paying bills and presenting upcoming Sasquatch concerts. For more information, visit www.snoringsasquatch.com.
