Sixty-seven students from kindergarten to Grade 8 took part in the Creston Valley Science Fair this month, with Isaiah Persad and Malcolm Berry (above right, with organizers Richard Kasperski and Judy Gadicke) winning the Hallman Cup for their project, Burn Baby Burn.
A total of 47 projects were in the fair, representing Homelinks, Yaqan Nukiy, Adam Robertson, Canyon-Lister, Erickson and Yahk elementary schools.
Graeme Sherman earned best of the fair (grade 4-6) for Bottle Rockets, and Ben Collison won best of the fair (grades 7 and 8) for Static Electricity.
