Lorne Eckersley started work at the Advance straight from journalism school in 1979. Raised in Calgary, he and his wife wanted to start a family in a small town. Though they originally planned to stay in Creston for five years, they haven't found a reason to leave just yet. Lorne is a rare publisher/reporter who also writes weekly opinion and wine columns.
